Strawberry Cheesecake Rolls

Serves 8 |
Surprisingly easy and quick to make.
Ingredients:
1 tube crescent roll dough, 8 oz. |
4 oz whipped cream cheese |
1 tablespoon butter, melted |
For the Strawberry Sauce: |
2 cups chopped strawberries |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch |
1/4 cup sugar |
For the Glaze: |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- Roll out the dough. Spread cream cheese onto the dough and roll the dough. Roll back up.
- Cut into 8 pieces. Place the rolls on baking sheet. Brush the melted butter over top.
- Place into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
- Combine the strawberries, lemon juice, cornstarch, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to medium heat and cook until thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Stir together the lemon juice and powdered sugar in a small bowl.
- Drizzle strawberry sauce and then the glaze over the rolls. Enjoy!
